The Past: workshop: The Stories That Heal
Just like free will, stories can be a blessing that save lives or it can be the worst nightmare. The First act in our Story Stewardship takes us back – to the Past that created us, and how we storytell it. To want extend do stories we tell ourselves help or limit us. Or both. The examples of the power of stories that heal, if only done consciously and well, come from all walks of life, from TED talks, through post-apartheid Reconciliation Committee, through Post-Traumatic Growth in war veterans, Anne Lamot’s Shitty First Drafts, well, Oprah and her „What happened to you?” book. What happens to you when you take a photo, a structure, a deep breath and tell your story, wholeheartedly – so with courage? All those who’d like to check that, you’re more than welcome to join me for this workshop. We shall storytell, witness, debate, try out, and certainly laugh a lot. A promise.
